Four Seasons Panel

Laurel Grey

Cherry blossoms in the spring, dragonfly summers, the richness of fall, icy and breathtaking winters—all in one panel.

The glass leaves in this wall art by Laurel Grey have been individually hand-cut, hand-painted and kiln-fired for permanence; they will never scratch or fade. The leaves are foiled and soldered together, as well as natural beach stones from Door County Wisconsin and cultured and colorful sea glass to create additional interest. A delicate glass dragonfly adds an element of surprise to summer, its wings screenprinted to capture the finest details. Dichroic glass graces the white leaves of winter, shimmering like sun on icy snow to reflect colors from golds to blues.

No patterns are ever used; each panel is truly one of a kind and will add a luxurious touch of nature to any room.

About this Artist

Laurel Grey

Laurel grew up in Japan, Germany and Texas and spent most of her adult life in Washington State and the central coast of California, moving to Wisconsin in 2007. Her glass reflects a blend of all these various geographies and cultures. She’s particularly influenced by the Japanese aesthetic of bringing the outside in, in close harmony with the natural world. Her work includes coffee tables with glass leaves, branches and stones under glass; strands and windchimes of floating glass leaves; window and wall panels made with glass leaves, stones and cultured seaglass.
