Reilly McClellan is inspired most by the natural beauty of our world. He is drawn to the scenece that evoke a feeling that can't be described. It's the feeling you get when gazing at a sunset and nobody is around; you're calm and at piece.
This is a painting of Rawley Point Lighthouse in the Point Beach state forest in Wisconsin on the coast of Lake Michigan. It was after a fun day on the beach with the family and the clouds were rolling in for a perfect backdrop. Excellent park for everying summer in Wisconsin.

Reilly McClellan lives in Cedarburg, Wisconsin with his wife and two children. Painting is his way of creating something that brings peace and joy to those who see it. He tries to capture the essence of the locations that he paints so the viewer can feel the breeze and smell the air. McClellan has always been drawn to the natural beauty of our world; He is drawn to the the scenes that evoke a feeling that can't be described.
Reilly mostly uses acrylic paints on canvas. He generally stays with the three primary colors, white, and sometimes black. He will use green paint from the tube if he has large areas and mixes accordingly.
