Slender Curve Pendant

Oceano Sea Glass Jewelry reflects Christine Gable Epstein’s passion for the sea. Her jewelry features naturally recycled sea glass—gems touched only by sand, saltwater, and time.

Soft Green and Pastel Blue sea glass is often derived from soda bottles from the early 1900’s. Bottles were manufactured locally, creating many color variations. The first glass Coca-Cola bottle dates back to 1916. Other popular brands at the time include RC and Pepsi. These colors are still used today, typically as window glass.

Green sea glass comes from glass bottles. The bottling of beer has been in the practice since as early as the 16th century. Dark Green is usually identified as wine bottles.

Olive may have been “case nine”, in special bottles shaped to fit inside of wooden sipping crates, produced from the 17th through the 20th centuries. Shades of lime are often from cola bottles of the 1960’s-70’s.
