Bonnie Nygard began studying the art of stained glass more than 20 years ago, while having a full time career with the University of Alaska Anchorage as a member of their faculty and administration. Since moving to Wisconsin in 2007, she transitioned from traditional leaded stained glass to creating stained glass mosaic window art. Every piece of Bonnie's is a one-of-a-kind, as she hand draws every design and applies a combination of styles that reflect both traditional and mosaic stained glass art. Most of her artwork highlights the beauty found in nature, such as birds, flowers, dragonflies, and various depictions of the 'Tree of Life'.
