Pumpkins and Pottery Art Show begins Sat. September 18 at Plum Bottom Road!
Trisha grew up spending as much time as she could exploring the Northwoods of Wisconsin, playing in the surf at the Outer Banks of North Carolina, and drawing in her sketchbook while daydreaming about someday becoming a “real” artist. Her love for painting was discovered while painting cartoons on the walls of her bedroom, which turned in to creating children’s murals for day care centers, schools, and nurseries. Later on, while raising a family of her own, Trisha’s dream of becoming a full-time artist was set aside. In 2018 she was hired to paint the largest mural she had ever done in the library of her children’s elementary school. By the time it was complete, she knew it was time to pursue her art career. Her favorite things haven’t changed all that much from when she was that daydreaming little girl. These days, you can find her hiking or skiing in the woods, enjoying a beach somewhere with her family, or painting in her studio at home. She feels blessed to finally feel like a the “real” artist she always wanted to become.
