Teresa Mowery's current body of work reflects her fascination with both science and art. She is inspired by chemistry, the fractal geometry of nature and the play of the elements on weathering objects. Mowery loves the interplay of color and texture with metals and her patina process in always evolving. 

Mowery was formerly trained as a jeweler, and received a BFA from Maine College in 1992. Along with solid design training, but equally important has been her work experience in the fields of education, management and various trades.
