Scott Allen
Scott Allen’s sailboat paintings are a celebration of color, light, and the quiet majesty of Lake Michigan. Featuring bold, expressive brushstrokes and rich layers of color, these original works capture the glowing transition of day to night over tranquil waters. A lone sailboat floats gently in the scene, evoking a sense of solitude, reflection, and freedom.
Allen’s unique style fuses Impressionist inspiration with contemporary energy, using a palette knife technique to build dynamic texture and movement across the canvas. His signature skies—bursting with tones of blue—mirror the unforgettable skies of Midwest days by the water.
