Sharon Miller-Thompson
A lifelong artist Sharon has worked in many media over the decades. Miller Thompson states “I am am most inspired to create functional artwork that tells a story through the materials, possibly clay, glass, steel, copper and often found objects.” Metal working and custom ironwork were added to Sharon’s art “tool box” in 2000, allowing her to really mix a variety of different art media together in a single piece. All sculptures are made individually and combine different metals and often glass. Steel is left unsealed to allow it to develop a natural patina over time.
