About the Artist
Stacey Small Rupp
Stacey Small Rupp has been painting the Door County landscape for over 30 years. As a native of Door County, her work captures its "spirit"...fresh, tranquil and charming are words often used to describe her work. Shorelines, trees and old barns with wildflowers are some of her favorite subjects. The ever changing seasons are also a favorite to capture. Stacey's roots run deep to the early Scandinavian settlers of Northern Door County.
Rupp received her BFA from UW Stout and is a proud member of the Wisconsin Watercolor Society. Her paintings have been featured in "Celebrating Door County's Wild Places" and have been juried into shows at the Miller Art center, Sturgeon Bay and the Hardy Gallery in Ephraim.
