About the Artist
Tim and Kathy McCoy - Studio 106
Studio 106 is an art glass studio in Cantwell, Alaska. Tim McCoy and Kathy Marchlinski are inspired year round by the beauty of the state.
Tim McCoy was born in Sitka and has lived in Alaska off and on throughout his life. While living in Cantwell, he received a free box of stained glass from a friend in 2005 and an obsession was born. His work deals with light, the interaction of color, the qualities of his materials, and natural elements. Tim and Kathy create original, hand painted and pieced fused glass items.
