Rivers of dichroic glass in many layers and mosaic-like chips of colorful iridized and dichroic glass flow through these fused and slumped glass sculptures with gold pen work. This piece is softly opaque to mimic a shell in nature.

About the Artist
Karen Ehart
Born in the pacific northwest to a family who valued and encouraged artistic expression and craftsmanship, Karen Ehart's work reflects more than 36 years of creative experimentation. She enjoys working with glass as well as a variety of materials including bronze, steel, and clay. In 1984, she picked up a glass cutter and was ruined for any real job.
