They are completely handmade of native woods and hand painted to resemble the aged and painted appearance of the originals. About this Artist

Richard Morgan

Richard A. Morgan was born in Connecticut and spent a good part of his growing up years in the southwest. He returned to New England to attend The University of Hartford Art School, majoring in wood sculpture. His decoys have been featured in decorative books, decorating magazines and on the cover of the LLBean catalog. His beautiful decoys are a natural expression of his reverence for wood, form and a love of the craftsmanship of the past.
